Hello, there. I'm Troid.
I've been writing for several years now and have racked up over thirty stories I consider publishable, most of which are fairly short but some of which are very long. Unlike you all (nearly as I can tell), I write fanfiction and not original fiction, though two of my most major writing projects are and/or are going to be original. However, I don't think that really makes us any different. Currently I'm juggling five stories as well as a choose-your-own-adventure game run on an imageboard, with about fifteen story ideas sitting on the various backburners in my head and one idea sitting on the primary frontburner, soon to be commenced.
My writing has traditionally fallen into one of two categories, which are action-adventure and yuri romance (also known as femslash). Quite a difference, I know. For a while I filled prompts on a kink meme (which, if you don't know, is any anonymous community that posts and writes for writing prompts that may or not be porn, depending on the community and the requester's taste), and that broadened my horizons somewhat in terms of genre. I also enjoy writing humor, especially parody. If you aren't into romantic themes (though I assure you, many of my so-called romances have varied backdrops and few follow any traditional romance formula...you'll see what I mean if you read one), then you should at least be able to enjoy my over-the-top action fics.
I write for fun. I'm here to get a handle on how good my writing is, which is always hard for me to figure out myself (it's not even objectivity issues; I just can't seem to judge), and to learn in which areas I can improve. Critique-wise, I'm probably characterized by "tough but fair." I'm miserable at explaining myself, but if you can figure out what I mean, you should find helpful insights towards improving your writing.
All that long rambling aside, I'm a pretty low-key person. Looking foreward to working with everybody in the future.
